Mus. ii. p. 317 (1902) rvfescens. Proboscis fully developed; palpi upturned, the 2ncl joint reaching to middle of Irons and slenderly scaled, the 3rd moderate; f'rons smooth; eyes large, round; antenniB of male with long cilia ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests; tibiic moderately fringed with hair, the mid and hind tibiiB with slight tufts of hair at extremity ; abdomen with sliglit crest at base only. Fore wing with the apex somewhat produced, the termen evenly curved ; the inner margin with lobe at middle and slight scale-tooth at tornus; vein 3 from before angle of call; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9 stalised ; 10, 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 shortly stalked ; 5 fully developed from angle of cell; 6, 7 from upper angle ; 8 anastomosing with the cell to near middle. 7091. Paraxestis rufescens.
