This new booklet illustrates and de-scribes all their furnaces suited to school shoprequirements. A copy will be sent upon The above cut illustrates a new acetylene gasgenerator possessing some decidedly new im-provements in acetylene gas generation. Most important of the new features is the ab-sence of weights, clock-work and complicatedmechanism. The carbide feed is automaticallycontrolled by the gas consumed by the torch—the generating of the gas automatically stopswhen the torch is extinguished and automaticallystarts generating when the torch is relighted,thus automatically maintaining a constant, evengas pressure. The machine is of the medium pressure, car-bide to water type, and is said to have but fewparts; to allow no chance for back flashes; andto produce gas at one cent a foot.
