Scattered showers and thunderstorms occurred on most days. Rainfall varied, with heaviest amounts of more than 2 inches falling in the northwest. Eastern and southern areas received about a half inch of rain during the week. Temperatures were cooler during the middle of the month with highs in the 60's-70's and lows in the 40's-50's. Readings warmed to the 80's and a few 90's. Moisture occurred in scattered showers and thunderstorms. All areas received some rainfall, but amounts were less than a half inch except in the west and north. Temperatures during the third week averaged above normal in the south but below normal in the north. High readings were in the 70's and 80's. Overnight lows were in the 60's and 70's.
