Dish ca. 1500 Spanish, Valencia On the front, Manises lusterware braseros were decorated with radial designs and filled with dense, regularized vegetal motifs and other patterns, all organized around a central device. On the back, they were also luster-painted, usually with larger-scale designs and often with more exuberance.
