Detail of the restored "Prince of Lillies" or the "Priest King" fresco on display at the Palace of Knossos, Crete. It is situated at the end of The Corrodor of Processions. This restoration is by Gillieron, was believed by Arthur Evans to be a priest-king wearing a crown of pwacock feathersand a necklace with lillies in it, leading an unseen animal to sacrifice.
