Eggborough, Selby, Yorkshire, England, 22ed August 2019, Eggborough Grain Silo being demolished, Dave Couldwell. The Grain Silo and Buffer Stores (1942) by the canal were built to store food supplies, away from the docks in the Second World War. The Buffer stores were used up to the Falklands War when they stored high protein biscuits to be sent to the troops.
