Striking rock formations at Hartland Quay, North Devon, UK - some of the most rugged terrain and rough seas in the UK on Devon's north coast. A quay was built during the times of Henry VIII and was reputedly used by Sir Francis Drake in Elizabethan times to off-load the spoils of his privateering enterprises. This wall is one of the few remaining features of the quay's existance
