The picture is included in photo albums containing pictures from the Swedish Åland expedition in 1918. The photographs are part of Ivar Holmquist's personal archive that is preserved in the army museum's archive. Holmquist (b. 1879 d. 1954.) was Lieutenant General, head of the Army and a member of the Academy of War Sciences. He was also an expert at the negotiations in the Åland issue at the Nations Association's Council.
