This view taken from the Otrabanda side overlooking the harbor entrance of Willemstad with the old Dutch colonial facadesto the left. The historic Area of Willemstad, Inner City and Harbour of Curacao are part of the UNESCO world Heritage Foundation. To the right you will find the old Fort Amsterdam. It was constructed in 1634 by the Dutch West India Company (DWIC). Currently it serves as the seat of the government of Curaçao.
