The exchange of information in October included an informational presentation by Lt. Col. Dawn Coleman, deployed with the 452nd Combat Support Hospital. She shared a presentation on surgical care of combat casualties. When not deployed, Coleman is an associate professor of surgery and pediatrics as well as the communicable diseases program director at the University of Michigan. Each month the Army and Kuwait military medical community increase capabilities by collaborating on new techniques and lessons learned in the medical field.
