Around the walls of the balcony are spacesfor twelve mural paintings, of which ninehave been completed. Along the right sideare four great paintings showing scenes typi-cal of American Sperm Whaling and titledrespectively, The Chase, The Attack,Towing the Carcass, and Trying the left wall are three canvases portrayingthe life of Typical Species of Whales
