Half a dozen bulbs may be planted in a pot,and will make a very pretty show. For garden cul-ture plant bulbs two inches deep and two inchesapart. They are so cheap and pi etty they ought tobe found in every garden. Flowers are pure white, with a lemon ororange cup. The Chinese method is as follows: Filla bowl, or some similar vessel, with pebbles, in whichplace the bulb, setting it about one-half its depth, sothat it will be held firmly, then fill with water to thetop of the pebbles and place in a warm sunny bulb will at once commence a rapid growth andbloom in two or three weeks. Bulbs are hardy, andbloom well in open ground.
