Master Sgt. Robert Nolasco, staff noncommissioned-in-charge, Funeral Detail, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, presents an American flag to Larry Odom during the burial of Marine Pfc. James O. Whitehurst at Cowarts Baptist Church Cemetery in Cowarts, Ala., April 12. Whitehurst was killed in action while fighting the Japanese at the battle of Tarawa during World War II, Nov. 20, 1943.
