RED SEA (Feb. 15, 2017) Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 1st Class Matthew Connell, left, and Lt. Cmdr. Andrew Dean, assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 70 make preparations for flight operations aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103). Truxtun, part of the George Bush Carrier Strike Group, is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
