Horizontal close up of a bronze plaque on the road showing the original route of the Berliner Mauer 'Berlin Wall'.

Horizontal close up of one of the many bronze plaques in the road signifying the original route of the now demolished Berliner Mauer 'Berlin Wall'. An iconic symbol of the Cold War, the Berliner Mauer 'Berlin Wall' divided East and West Berlin for 28 years, from Aug 1961 until Nov 1989. Very little is left of the Wall either in its original location or original state as almost all was either chipped away by souvenir hunters or bulldozed during its demolition.
