Glaciated mountain corrie and lake high in the Black Cuillin mountains, Coire Lagan, Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK. The lines scored into the rock slabs in the foreground were caused by the ice and rock in the glacier flowing out of the corrie grinding down the rock beneath. This corrie, with its small mountain Loch, is a popular destination for hillwalkers. Enthusiastic hill-walkers and "munro-baggers" will continue up one of the scree slopes, which can be seen at the back of the corrie, to reach the main Cuillin Mountain ridge.
