Vintage portrait photo circa 1920s of English architect Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens (1869 - 1944) - often regarded as the greatest British architect since Sir Christopher Wren. Lutyens established his reputation by designing a series of English country houses and was subsequently a key figure in the planning and design of New Delhi in India circa 1912 - 1931. He was also one of the chief architects for the Imperial War Graves Commission and designed the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, which was erected following WW1. Photo by Bain News Service.
