Nanoparticle cancer treatment research. This image shows porous silica nanoparticles being studied in chicken embryo models. The nanoparticles are labelled with fluorescent markers, with particles of different size, shape, and surface chemistry observed as different colours. This work was carried out by researchers at the University of New Mexico Cancer Nanotechnology Platform Partnership (CNPP) and Cancer Nanoscience and Microsystems Training Center (CNTC), USA.
