Timothy Dwight College, commonly abbreviated and referred to as "TD", is a residential college at Yale University named after two university presidents, Timothy Dwight IV and Timothy Dwight V. It was built in 1935, at a cost of $2 million, and renovated in 2001-2. TD was designed by James Gamble Rogers in the American Federal style popular during the younger Timothy Dwight's presidency.
