Thailand: Shaping a monk's alms bowl at Ban Baat (Monk's Bowl Village) in the heart of Bangkok. Ban Bat in the centre of Bangkok's old Ratanakosin area still produces handmade alms bowls for Buddhist monks. The community originally fled Ayutthaya in the 18th century to avoid the war with Burma.
