Savassona Castle is located in Tavèrnoles, in the Osona region of the province of Barcelona. The first documentation referring to this building dates from the year 890. After the restoration carried out in the year 1775 it was converted into a large residential house. It was the residence of the barons of Savassona until they definitively abandoned the castle in 1820.
