Working on Mount Rushmore. Face of George Washington being worked on during the carving of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The memorial, which depicts the faces of four US Presidents, was carved into the granite mountiainside of Mount Rushmore, near Keystone, South Dakota, USA. It was sculpted by Danish-American sculptor Gutzon Borglum (1867-1941). The Presidents are; George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
