A. * * * Jack Sproule, formerly of Rocky Ford, Colo., has moved to Clovis, N. M., and is using his best efforts to have an association formed there and says he believes a track will be built this winter. * * * The directors of the Yates County Fair, at Penn Tan, N. Y., decided to cut out the racing feature last year, but the attendance fell off so much that it is said thev will put it back again this season. + + + Henry Helman of Salinas attended the meeting of the California Fair and Racing Association Saturday.
