The Berlin Spandau Ship Canal (Berlin Spandauer Schiffahrtskanal) is a navigable waterway use by barge traffic linking the River Havel at Spandau, in the western suburbs of Berlin to the Humboldthafen basin at the Central Railway Station. The canal was built 1902-04 is km ( miles) long and 62 m wide. A view north from Invalidenstrasse towrads the Museum of Contemporary Art and Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology Building.
