The Cross of Sacrice at the CWGC Adelaide Cemetery-Villers Brettonneux near Amiens


Needless to say that mostly [500] Australian are buried here, mostly from the Battle of Amiens in 1918. There are 960 burials,266 are unknown. The cemetery was used to select the remains of an Unknown Australian Soldier. A grave was selected and transferred to the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra
