Clearances Monument, a memorial erected by the descendants of those who were evicted from their Arran homes as part of the Highland Clearances. The three rocks symbolize a father, mother and child. The grassy mound opposite on the green is where the last sermon was preached before they boarded the brig Caledonia in 1829.
