The Crown Prince Rupprecht Fountain (son of the last Bavarian King Ludwig III from the House of Wittelsbach) stands in front of the residence on Marstallplatz. Created in 1961 on behalf of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences. By the German sculptor "Josef Bernhard Maria Bleeker" (born July 26, 1881 in Munster - † March 11, 1968 in Munich). The naked female figure on the column represents "Justitia". In her right hand she holds the scale of justice and in her left hand the "Pallas Athene" - which stands for victory as well as for art and science.
