This carriare is fed by rack and jiinion withpilot-wheel in the ordinary manner, or automati-c-ally, as may be desired, and the turret revolvesautomatically. The carriage slides on large 90°Vs, and is gibbcd to the V)ed outside front andback. The various tool-holders, turning de-vices, cut-off slides, etc., by which the work isdone, are simply attached to the top or uppersurface of the turret by square tongues andgrooves with bolts.
