Absorption to this extent isan unusual finding in Pagets disease months and a cane for one physician said he had tornsome ligaments. One year later,five years before examination, henoticed a rapidly growing tumorabove the left hip; this did notcause pain. Clinical patient appeared well nour-ished. His head was not enlarged;the spine was not deformed. The ARMAN AND CARRICK right femur was very markedlybowed forward and outward, andthere was a large hard mass inconnection with the left ilium. Theskin over the mass was coveredw ith distended veins. 1 he urinalysis showed a largeamount of albumin and a moder-ate amount of pus cells; the bloodcount w as normal and the Was-sermann reaction negative.
