The restored Post Office in the old mining town of St Bathans, Central Otago, New Zealand. It was built in 1909. It is the third post office to stand on the site and operated as a post office until 1937. It is listed as a National Historic Landmark. The building is currently owned by the Department of Conservation (DOC) and is now used by the local community. The building fell into disrepair and was restored by DOC. It is one of 4 DOC owned premises in St Bathans. After an enquiry DOC have decided that some of the building will be converted to provide visitor accomodation whist the public will have access to the rest of the buyilding.
