Dildine back in the city, after taking treatment at the Clifton Springs Sani- tarium for the last three weeks. He is greatly improved in health and weighs more than ever before. He reports the business of James Vick's Sons as ex- tremely active and predicts a wonder- fully good season. Among the visitors last week was E, E. Blackshaw, vice-president of the Ove Gnatt Co., La Porte, Ind. Fred Peartree, formerly manager of the Rosery Flower Store, has severed his connection with that concern. E. Kendig, proprietor of this store, con- tinues to ship fine pussy willows to the various stores. Mammoth sprays of forsythia and cherry blossoms greatly add to the beau- tiful display of potted plants and bas- ket arrangements seen in the window of Salter Bros, at their East Main street store. They report business as brisk, with a good supply of stock. Hugo Teute is forcing some wonder- fully fine potted valley, which is selling readily. His stock of flowering bulbs is being reduced somewhat, as it is in excellent shape and the demand is keep- ing up well. H. E. Wilson has a splendid assort- ment of daffodils, hyacinths and tulips and is doing a fine business. He is dis- posing of a great quantity of the large crocks of assorted bulbs and Primula malacoides.
