Photo lithograph of a stained glass window by Percy Bacon & Brothers installed in 1895 in St Dunstan's in the West, Fleet Street, London. The window celebrates the life and work of Isaak Walton, famous for his book "The Complete Angler". The. standing figure of Walton is a copy of the statue by Miss Mary Grant which stands in a niche of the great screen in Winchester Cathedral.


Percy Bacon (1860-1935) was a stained glass artist. He set up his company, Percy Bacon and Brothers in Newman Street, London, in 1892. Later in 1917 the company was liquidated and he continued to produce windows and other ecclesiastical furniture and decoration under the name Percy Bacon Limited until its closure in 1933.
