A mountain bike trail in Grizedale Forest has been built thanks to sponsorship from The North through The North Face Mountain Bike Trail Partnership. The partners are The North Face, Rural Regeneration Cumbria and The Forestry Commission. It starts at the Grizedale Visitor Centre and is a 10 mile track of singletrack trail on the west side of Grizedale Forest. It features some challenging hills as it contours through the oak woodlands and conifer forest. There are board walk sections which can test the technical skills of mountain bikers.
