Negative - Carting Water From the Main Tyrrell West Channel, Near Nyarrin, Victoria, by Bill Boyd, 1922, The Boyd's farm was not connected to the nearby water supply until 1922, and though there was a dam on the property at Bimbourie they frequently had to cart water to supplement their supplies. The nearest channel was at Nyarrin, just three miles away. When that was dry, the Boyd's travelled across eight miles of sand to collect water from the reservoir at Nandaly.
