PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 26, 2016) Airman Elisabet Laboymendez, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, performs final checks on the catapult gear of an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Black Aces of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41 aboard the flight deck of USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) during carrier qualifications. John C. Stennis is underway to conduct routine training and participate in National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day events in Hawaii.
