May we not hope that as the influenceof this class extends, it will counteract theevil arising from prejudice and resentmentcaused by other conditions and prove to bethe bond that will draw together in loveand helpfulness the jarring elements intheir own race, and be ready to cooperatewith men and women of like minds in thewhite race who would seek a ris-hteous.
