Village Almshouses, Highgate, London, UK - founded in 17th Century by Sir John Wollaston, but badly decayed, the almshouses were pulled down and rebuilt by Sir Edward Pauncefoot in 1722. Sir Edward Pauncefoot increased the number of houses and added a school for girls in the middle.
