There are3,300 pens, 1,800 covered and 1,500 open, enabling 2,500 head of cat-tle, 14,000 sheep and 15°,000 hogs to be handled at one time. Theyards contain twenty miles of streets, twenty miles of water troughsfifty miles of feeding troughs, and seventy five miles of water anddrainage pipes. There are five artesian wells, having an of 1,230 ft. There are also eighty-seven miles of railroadtracks, all the roads, having access to the yards. Its cost was $4,000,-000. T
