The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of a fan-shaped flowerpot, flanked on the left and right by a loose circle along the upper edge and straight below it along the lower edge by an oval cartouche overlaid with rosette flowers. The motifs are connected by a diamond-shaped mesh ground. The motifs are made in linen stitching with few recesses and with thicker contour threads.
