Detail of timber bookshelf and crossbeams. Wendell Rd, London, United Kingdom. Architect: Tate Harmer LLP, 2015.

This project was the complete refurbishment and extension of an Edwardian house in a Conservation Area in West London . One of the client couple is a garden designer and as part of the works a new timber framed family room was created which provides a new visual and spatial link to the garden, including a semi-covered external terrace. This design also allowed to maximise the amount of additional accommodation within the strict planning laws of the Conservation Area.
