World War I German Model 1915 Gummimaske gas mask with clear lenses. This model of mask is the earliest German gas mask and this is an early incarnation evidenced by the type lack of rouched straps on the back and the presence of only fabric elastic bands. Mask is made of a tan fabric that on the edges has some rubber residue where it would seal against the head. A cylindrical gas filter is screwed into the bottom of the mask and is heavily rusted.
