The exterior is construct-ed of rock-faced gray stonewith trimmings of dressedIndiana limestone. Thesewalls are well pierced withmany windows which areglazed with leaded whole building iscrowned with a red slatedroof which adds a touch ofcolor to the house andblends well into the generalcolor scheme. Entering the hall, whichis a central one extendingthrough the entire depth ofthe house, one does not seethe staircase as is usuallythe case, for it is placed ina separate hall, apart fromthe main entrance hall.
