Clayton Eckstrom, Train, Advise, and Assist Command-Air Joint Tactical Air Controller advisor, observes the target accuracy of an Afghan Air Force training strike on Forward Operating Base Hunter, Afghanistan, June 18, 2018. This was the first time Afghan Air Force A-29 aircraft launched guided bombs directed by ground-based lasers, proving the capability of light-attack aircraft for close air support.
