Furca eight times as long as wide and sUghtly curved. Dorsal seta as long as sub- terminal claw. This is the only Candona known with the peculiar, partly reflexed seta of the second foot, and it may be a characteristic of a young stage. Tows along lake shores along the bottom; April to November.
