Tlie pain is referredto other .-situations than the oall-hladder or the epigastrium. It is oftenrelieved by vomiting or by eertain positions of the body. The jaundieemay be intermittent or remittent. On account of the obstruction in thissituation the liver becomes enlarged. It is firm and smooth on enlargement, as determined by percussion, is uniform. The gall-bladder is not enlarged.
