The RIver Thames, upstream from Richmond Bridge with the Richmond Pier landing stage on the left. Boats run regularly, from the Pier, upstream to Hampton Court and Windsor and downstream to Greenwich via Kew Gardens. One of the most picturesque walks in the Richmond area is along the Thames path from Richmond to Teddington lock passing Petersham Meadows en route.
