Douarnenez maritime festival : gathering of traditional boats since 1986. The Maritime Festival brings together all types of traditional sailing ships from around the world. In 2004 there were no fewer than 2000 yachts, 17,000 sailors and 30 nations represented. Every manifestation of culture and know-how from one country are in the spotlight.
