VaHey can be had, but there is not much demand for it. Orchids are scarce, with the de- mand good. Violets are coming in nice- ly. Carnations meet a good demand, while lilies are not abundant and then- scarcity is felt. Bowling. MEMPHIS, TENN. Smith's Advance and October Frost chrysanthemums were knocked out by Jack Frost, who descended on the night of October 8, causing havoc. C. H. Hune, of the Memphis Floral Co., re- ports a total loss of a fine crop of chrysanthemums, which were just com- ing in. Dahlias also suffered. He in- dorses A. D. Livoni, both the yellow and pink varieties. Jack Rose, red, and John Walker, white, are the best for store sales. Delice is too uncertain. Business right along has
