Heather Tevebaugh, 23d Aerospace Medicine Squadron aerospace physiologist assists Airman 1st Class Chase Young, 23d AMDS bioenvironmental technician, with a flight simulator, Jan. 18, 2016, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Aerospace physiologists manage specialized physiology support programs and procedures that ensure flight crews are prepared for high altitudes. In the Air Force, there are currently 118 active duty and three Air Force reservist aerospace physiologists.
