Weld, the sum of fiftydollars which was duly tendered on August 12, 1896, for the purposeof protecting his interest in property on Gould street, which hadbeen sold for taxes, and which he claimed could not be redeemedfor the reason of not knowing who held the tax deed. Said tenderbeing in accordance with Chapter 12, Sections 50 and 5T, PublicStatutes. 153 CLOSING REMARKS. During the year 1897 there will be paid of the town debt theamount of $15,000, as follows : Municipal Light Plant, $3,000 00 5,000 00 Lincoln School HouseWarren Greenwood Funded Loan, Total, 2,000 001,000 004,000 00 $15,000 00 This amount will be included in the next tax levy without furthervote of the town.
